We spent the morning walking the river looking for dinosaurs tracks and found some. We even found a few dinosaurs!
John got his first Junior Ranger Badge and declared “My sister is going to be so proud of me!”
After a stop at the Shoo Fly soda shop to celebrate, we decided to try out the kayak. While the Squaw Creek was a bit shallow the boys persevered and made it, not just to the Paluxy River but to the great Brazos as well!
We finished up with a dip in the pool, an easy dinner, and some laundry before getting to sleep before another big day!
