We had to change RV parks today, so John got some morning pool time before it was time to check out. A quick lunch errand (during which the chair was obtained) and we settled in at our new home, Pine Mountain RV Resort. Then it was off to the highly recommended Hill Billy Mini-Golf! John has become quite the mini-golf fan, and this course was definitely unique.
It’s built into the side of a mountain so you ride a tram to the top, play your way halfway down, then catch the team the rest of the way back down!
We had a blast; John and Mom even got hole in ones!
We even played a little golf Plinko!
This part of the country is known for lightning bugs. During two weeks in the summer, they have these amazing synchronized lightning bugs. While we missed it this year, there were still plenty flying around, and John has mastered the art of catching (and releasing) them!
It is hot here! Luckily, there is a pool at the new place too! In the evening, John and Mom have also been perfecting their s’mores skills!
