July 15, 2021 : Little Rock AR

It was time to head out of Hot Springs. We will definitely come back here again. The hikes were beautiful and well marked and they were many many more to explore still.

Since we had plenty of time before we had to be at our next place we decided to stop do a little shopping in Little Rock and see what Little Rock was all about. 

We had a delicious dinner at a tiny little place even though everything was kind of a mess it was fun. At Jon even tried alligator for the first time! (He said it was just okay.)

After dinner we went back to downtown Little Rock to an awesome park we had seen. It was downtown on the river and absolutely fantastic. They had an old bridge that function somewhat like a drawbridge but raised up and down to allow the trains to go over and the ships to go under. The park it’s self had it play area for the children that was built with rocks for them to climb in scramble on. There is also beautiful sculptures throughout the entire park. 

We ended up spending the night in Little Rock.. but that’s a story for another time!
