Even Elizabeth got in on the action!
Next we headed across the hall to the SeaLife aquarium. For an aquarium in the mall it was quite impressive. John had fun getting various stamps throughout the exhibits and Elizabeth loved looking at all the fish.
They even had one of those see through tunnels where sharks go over your head!
After we finished there, we had a few minutes to spare since Nana’s flight out of DFW was delayed so we walked through the giant mall. We stopped and got new water shoes for Richard and Laura since Richard’s were eaten by a mud monster in the Brazos yesterday!
After dropping Nana off at DFW, we went to the Blue Goose to meet Richard’s old friend, Diesel and his family, Tara and 10 year old Jocelyn. After a good meal and many laughs, it was decided Jocelyn would join us for part of the next destination (or “destiny” as John keeps saying!)
It was dark by the time we got home, but we finished up some laundry and did a little prep work to leave Glen Rose the next morning.
