July 6, 2021 : Glen Rose

Despite an interesting night when we came home to no power, we woke up Tuesday ready to explore! After a few morning meetings, we spent some time exploring the RV Park, Tres Rios. John, of course, found some Ninja Warrior training 

Then the afternoon was spent playing in the pool while Laura finished up some work!

Then it was time for the work day to wrap up and the first adventure of the trip to start!! We all piled in the car and it was off to Fossil Rim - to do a drive through safari. John had one goal: to see his favorite animal, the Cheetah. And….

MISSON ACCOMPLISH!

(One even may have escaped! ;) )

Fossil Rim was great; here is a sampling of the animals we saw and fed! There was even a mama giraffe and a new baby just little learning to walk!

Tomorrow we were go back in time…
