At the Narita Airport, we headed for the Red Carpet club for a 4 1/2 hour layover. We found showers there where they gave you everything, including a toothbrush! (yes, I was a bit overly excited) Finally feeling refreshed, we wandered a bit until our flight was called. Trey slept the next 6 hours, while I slept and read. Then we were there... Bangkok, Thailand! We moved quickly through security, got our luggage, and headed upstairs to catch a cab. (Thanks to a tip from Monica!) We asked the cabbie to turn on the meter and he refused, trying to bargain from 500 Bahts. We got him down to 350 Bahts, but were aiming for the meter or 300. When we kept asking for the meter, he popped open the trunk and out we went! The next cabbie said 300B, so away we went. After getting lost just once close to the hotel, we checked into the FuramaXclusive, and settled in for the night a little after 1am.
